Olde Tyme Stuffe

This is my first attempt to post to Simpsons and Company. More importantly, I'm jsut getting the hang of this Blog stuff, so its my first crack at posting some pictures up.

This first image shows Anti-V in our hovel camp trying to keep out of the rain and stay warm.
This would be AFTER my brother Randy worked with Vandy (in a downpour of course) to re set additional canvas over the camp.
That tent is an ancient boy scout wall tent. It is 7 x 7 (maybe 2 x 2 metres) on the ground. Just barely tall enough that I can stand in it with my head scrunched over. If we put our brass bed in it, there is just barely room for one person at a time to get up and get dressed as well.
We whimped out and brought the Pod. Its only a bit bigger inside, but does have hard walls and a solid roof. We figure at night no one sees us sleeping anyway.
Anti-V certainly got the worst of it. I spent most the day (and the rain) inside the blacksmith's shop. This is just to the right of our camp. Warm and dry once I had started the wood stove in the shop. Even worked a very little bit. Actually was surprised that I did not get a crowd sitting around the stove drinking coffee...

The second image is Brother Randy. His 'camp name' is Greasy Bear. And no, we checked and technically he IS NOT an official relation to the Simpsons. Jonah, breathe a sigh of releaf!
